• The pro would probably be better if you have multiple floors and want to be able to hear the chime further from the router/modem. The chime works adequately for a one level house.

• The Ring Chime Pro acts as a wireless Wi-Fi extender using it's own network. We had to order it as we couldn't pick it up in the local Best Buy store. Took a few days to get it but it works perfectly. BBDPEG
