- Answer After purchase, installation and activation, the first 30 days of video storage are free. After the 30 day free trail, there is a service for which the cost is $30 per year for one device. If you do not sign up for the service, the videos will not be saved. The service stores the videos on line for 60 days. They can then be viewed on line and/or downloaded and saved locally during that time. After 60 days they will be erased. The app is free.
