• Battery will only last for maybe 3 weeks, make sure you buy an additional battery so when you take one out to charge it can still record. I recently bought the battery device and that has been about how long one battery will stay charged for me, unfortunately we can not purchase wired due to the fact that we rent but even with a short battery life I am still satisfied with the product.

• I bought the battery cameras and have two batteries in each. The first battery needed to be recharged within about 3 weeks of putting up the cameras. Maybe I didn’t charge them long enough before setting up the cameras. I would have bought the wired cameras if they had a battery backup for power outages.
