- Answer It can be installed by person buying the camera depending on how you decide to install it. You may need additional tools than what is provided. You don’t need Alexa but will have to download Ring Application and have access to wifi.

- Answer Yes. You get 30 days free then to see recordings of activity you have to pay a subscription fee. i think i pay $3 a month. it isnt horrible

QuestionI have a RING doorbell installed at my front door. It’s a rather small setback entrance. Can I install a RING camera with sidelights in the same area, or will the “overlap” confuse the system?

- Answer Installing a second camera won't confuse the system, they will be named differently. To make the most of it try to arrange the second camera to cover area that your doorbell camera can't see, just overlapping the sight area of your doorbell camera a little so you don't have blind spots.

- Answer One app for all Ring branded products, including their security system. I really wish you could also view the Blink cameras with this app (which Amazon also owns).

QuestionHow much bandwidth does 1 camera take, i bought 4 total but it seems to wipe out my internet somewhere between 2 and 3 units??? i currently use 100 mg internet , i can speed test and its very reliable. after more than 2 and motions etc my wifi drops

- Answer Yes you can install indoors. Yes you can turn off the spotlight thru the app. No on the continuous recordings, activated on motion or you can go to a live viewing but it is not continuous. Yes it does keep a log of recordings if you purchase the plan.

Once you activate the camera with the Ring app, you will have cloud storage for 30 days free. 5 or 10 days remaining on the trial, you will start to get notification to sign up for cloud storage by paying $3/month or $30/year. You can also sign up on the website or by phone. It requires a Credit Card for the transaction.

- Answer Spotlight works great at eye-level, or slightly higher. At 5 to 7 feet from the ground, your Spotlight Cam can cover a wide visual area, as well as capture HD video of visitors' faces. When Spotlight Cam is mounted too high, it often gets angled sharply downwards. This can work if you're only looking to detect motion in a very small area, but more often than not results in not detecting approaching visitors or capturing the top of heads when the motion sensors are triggered. - Answer yes, solar panel keeps battery charged up alternatively I bought AC to 5V USB wall adapters and USB to barrel connector (3.5 mm x 1.35mm) cables on amazon and they're doing a fine job keeping the batteries charged up.

- Answer It comes with one battery but has space for two to extend life I have 2 of these and kept just the one battery, but hooked up the solar panel Option to each one (one panel Per camera) and they never fail
