A 3/3 that is 3 Mbps download 3 Mbps upload would probably get the job done as long as the signal from the wifi router was strong to the camera

I can't tell you exactly how fast it needs to be but when I am away from my home and only have cell service it is pretty slow to bring up a picture. The best way is to try it and see...from what you said...I wouldn't get my hopes up for this one unless you can get strong wifi connection to the camera
