- Answer No, the battery must be removed from the camera to charge it. Buy a spare battery and swap them out.

QuestionThis camera says it has a 115 degree field of view. On the Ring website, it says this camera is supposed to have a 150 degree field of view. Is this an older version for the same price? https://shop.ring.com/products/stick-up-cam-wired#tech-specs

- Answer Just the camera and your cell phone with the Ring App. I just purchased the system and connection was very straight forward. You may want to consider adding the solar power panel, which i did. Unfortunately another $50 but It saves the trouble of recharging the battery or running a power line.

- Answer If you are experiencing lag time it's due to the location of your camera and your Wi-Fi connection. Go to your app and look at the device health of your camera. If the RSSI number is high 0-99 you need a better Wi-Fi connection. The lag time you are experiencing will cause your camera not record properly. I had to put in a mesh system to bump my signal so that the RSSI number was below 50 due to my router being on the other side of my house. RING customer service can help you troubleshoot this at 1 800 656 1918.
