• The app will let you select notifications. My Echo Show 5 announces that someone is at the door.

• You set up the Amazon show after the ring. It will show video on the show and a sound.

• Yes, you can install with just the battery. It will notify and ring on the echo show when someone is at the front door.

• No! The sound will come through your phone. If you do tha wired it will come in your house

• Yes, it will announce on the alexa show and also can notify you on your phone. Only draw back is the down time when you need to charge it. Does go a long time on each charge.
