The doorbell will work and it will keep your battery charged.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You charge it before you install but if you hook it up to the existing wires you won’t have to recharge. And yes it uses your regular door bell chime. Outside there is another ring the doorbell pusher hears.
