Hi Yaya05, We don't recommend placing your Ring doorbell where it can be caught by direct sunlight. That means you'll need to avoid placing the doorbell in a position where sunlight might confuse the sensor and ultimately result in false alerts. With that said, Ring products are weather resistant and will work in freezing temperatures and are resistant to rain. In general, Ring doorbells and Cam products with batteries are rated for operating temperatures between -5 to 120 degrees F. (-20 to 50 degrees C.).
