Yes you can speak to someone while they wait outside. That’s one feature that makes this product great. They can also talk back to you. 2 way speaking. And the door bell pro is for those who have a existing existing door bell.

The door bell 2 model can be used if you don’t have an existing doorbell which has a rechargeable battery! I have the doorbell 2 and it works perfect! Easy to install!
