I used it with a iPhone 8 . It may be slower with a 4 and 6 but it’s all speculation. And yes if your is wired you will have the battery charged and after you lose power it will last a minumum if 30 days .

Please try again later.Do not know about the iPhone but the system uses the internet to send you notifications on motion and if the power is out, I expect your internet would be too. It does have a battery that you charge so it will still work with no power but without internet, you get nothing.

It has provisions to take doorbell power as it was designed to replace standard doorbells. Please refer to Ring website for technical details.
