There isn't really an inside chime. The chime sounds on your phone or whatever device you have the app installed on. However, if you have the doorbell also hard wired to your existing physical doorbell (the one that came with your house), then the chime will continue to ring. To disable that, you would need to disconnect the wiring to your chime.
