• I hooked my doorbell up to my existing power for exterior lights on my garage. You need to have a proper transformer (one that is normally included with mechanical doorbells). I installed a mechanical doorbell in my garage so I could have constant power to the Pro. I then installed my Chime 2 in my living power outlet where I have a shared wall with my living room and garage. This helped my WiFi signal to my Ring Pro.
