Is this wireless? or need installation null

The ring pro requires 16-24 volts to work while the original ring doorbell along with the ring 2 can work wirelessly and would then just need to have the battery charged occasionally.

You don't need an existing doorbell for the Ring Pro to work. The device will alert you on your phone or the optional chime if you don't have a doorbell. All this thing needs to work is power from a transformer that is connected to a 120V circuit. If you don't have existing wire run to your door from an old doorbell, you can run new wire to the transformer even if you're marginally handy. I have two of these synced to individual chimes and they work great. Just need to get power to them, that's all.
