• This doorbell requires to be hardwired self outside your apartment door do you have the wiring that it would work for you to have to install the wiring from inside the apartment door to the outside to hardwire

• It mounts with screws that did not match my normal doorbell. I had to drill new holes. If you have access to the ringer, and ability to flip breaker when installing, you could use it at an apartment, yes.
