Hi Jojo, Thanks for reaching out. If you hardwire your Ring Video Doorbell to your pre- existing doorbell, your Ring device will sound as if it is your original chime. However, please do note that compatible doorbell transformers are 8-24 VAC, DC not compatible. If you go with the battery operated version, your Ring chime sound will only be heard through your Ring app. With that being said, we do have our Ring Chime. Ring Chime is a wireless notification device that can connect to all of your Ring devices. Simply plug it into a wall socket, connect it through the Ring app and you'll get Ring notifications anywhere in your home, even if you're not near your phone.
