“Can you keep your original doorbell to trigger the Ring Unit?”

• Hi davej, are you wanting to keep the doorbell button, or wanting to use the existing chime? I installed my Ring doorbell as a replacement for a traditional doorbell button with an indoor mechanical chime. I was able to successfully swap out the button and still use my in existing door chime.

• Yes you can hard wire the unit to your original doorbell
