Hi renata, Ring Video Doorbell is weather resistant. Ring Doorbell will work in freezing temperatures and is resistant to rain water, however we do not recommend that you submerge your Ring Doorbell in water. I am not sure, I live in an apartment building and my door is covered. That is a good question. You may want to go to ring.com for that answer. I am pretty sure it is water resistant.
