- Answer Yes it does and you can chose to pick up and talk through the speaker on the camera or you can end the ring go back to whatever it is you were doing. Also you don’t have to be home for the ringer to pop up it’s an app on your phone and works anywhere.

QuestionDon't have a cell phone Just a computer. What if I'm not home, how'll I know someone rang my bell or someone was at my door? This will be set up outside an active door in a hallway so I don't wish to be disturbed by casual traffic. Is there a battery?

- Answer So the Ring Doorbell has motion sensor detection and of course the doorbell notification. In a busy hallway, you will want to deactivate the motion sensor so that you do not always get notified. If you have it linked to your computer only, then it will record for 15-30 seconds the time of ringing if you do not answer. You won’t know someone is there until you get to your computer until you link it to your phone or another Wifi enabled device. The doorbell works off Wifi, so if you have a Wifi enabled device with you that is linked to the doorbell, you can be notified that way. The Ring doorbell has a built in rechargeable battery. I would recommend the Ring 2 if you plan on always charging it as oppose to hard wiring it. Hope that helps

- Answer Hello, Yes, although you would need to still uninstall the device, mount the corner kit, and then attach the device to the corner kit once you get it. The corner kit is a huge help if you are trying to angle your doorbell to get the best field of view for your video! - Answer There is an app for Iphone and Android, just download the app and buy the doorbell. Make sure you have good Wifi at your front door.

- Answer I had a 25 year old system and it did not work with it. It would charger the battery and all the units would chime when the bell was press but would not stop. I disconnect the old system.

- Answer Actually it is a bit too sensitive, sending alerts when cars drive by. Video low light is ok, but not great.

- Answer yes, you have to download the app from the app store or the windows store on windows 10. It'll notify you of motion detentions or door bell rings, which then you can do a live view.

QuestionOur Ring video doorbell seems to have died. When we charge it inside even for long periods of time it doesn't seem to turn on (up to 2 days of charging). Is there a replacement battery on the inside of the unit or does it simply need to be replaced?

- Answer Bug, put the ring anywhere you want. I have mine to the side like a regular doorbell. I also have the ones that I take down periodically and recharge in the house, they now have solar recharge and if you have electricity at the site you can also direct wire it.

- Answer You really do not want to put both your regular doorbell and your RING video doorbell. RING doorbell replaces your regular doorbell. In fact putting both defeats the purpose of your video doorbell.

- Answer The doorbell has a two way audio. You can activate on the app and speak. I have one at every entry but also outside where my kids play so I can speak to them and see them anytime.
