Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could, as long as you can drill mounting holes. The unit can be wired, but also has an internal battery it can operate from. As it has to be able to connect with your wi-fi, the metal could be an issue. I would suggest locating it temporarily and checking your internet connection before permanent mounting.

Please try again later.I would imagine you can the bracket is actually what mounts to the wall or door (I'm not running mine from house electricity so I just attached mine to the metal screen door) and then the bell/camera snaps into place and locked on with a few screws. It didn't take me long to set it up since I wasn't connecting to house electric.
