• Hello pnhdad14, Great question. We recommend mounting the Ring Video Doorbell Wired upright to provide the best experience with the doorbell. Please see our help center article on how to install the Ring Video Doorbell Wired: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054984332-Installing-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Wired. Mounting this device horizontally will affect motion detection and the video is not rotatable, so it will be sideways. You can purchase a wedge kit to offset the angle of the siding if that's something you'd be interested in.
