• A:Answer If you’re talking about the transition strip from carpet to like vinyl flooring. Mine does without a problem. This model has sensors that let it know what’s around it unlike other units that bump into the object to know it can’t go any further. This one sees out further to know there’s a room to clean. • A:Answer Yes. You have to select VAC. It took me a while to realize that there are three settings. VAC for vacuum only, MOP for mop only and VAC/MOP. I thought I was setting the vac setting then mop setting but if you only want to VAC then do the VAC settings then start it. Lol
