• The specs are wrong. It only weighs maybe 2 pounds or so, like other surge protectors of the same size.

• No, it definitely does not weigh that much. Maybe a pound? It's an average weight for such a product. I love that the outlets face in different directions. Have been happy with it so far. Have had it about 3 weeks.
