- Answer The HDMI switcher product (such as RF-G1501) with remote control might solve your problem, connect your DirectTV or AppleTV to the switcher inputs, then connect its output to the soundbar HDMI input, then you can use it to select either DirectTV or AppleTV when you want. For example if your TV has only HDMI input and you have a blue ray player and a streaming device (ie, ROKU device), the HDMI switch allows you to switch between the blue ray player and the streaming device.

QuestionMy TV has two HDMI ports. We use one for the Dtv cable box and the other for the Xbox. One of the port is loose and has sunken into the TV. Will this device allow me to have both my DTV cable and Xbox plugged in w/opt to use either cable or Xbox device?

- Answer No. This is a one input, two output device. In other words, you can plug in your DTV box and output it on two different TVs. You need the opposite, a two input, one output device.

QuestionCan I choose which display to use (switch between two displays)? I want to use it to send output from a single PS5 to my monitor and to my tv, but I don't need it to display on both displays at the same time.

- Answer You cannot choose an output to use. It takes one HDMI signal in and sends that same signal out both of the HDMI outputs. This would send the PS5 output to both your TV and monitor. You would either need to switch your TV and Monitor individually or get a Matrix Switcher.

- Answer This is HDMI splitter is HDMI 2.0 compatible, as the back panel says “compatible with resolutions up to 4K@60Hz”. HDMI 1.4 is compatible up to 4K@30Hz. It’s not HDMI 2.1 compatible.

- Answer No, You need an HDMI switcher. a switcher will connect to your one TV port and allow you to plug your other devices into it so you can switch between them. this is an HDMI splitter which splits one signal to two displays.

- Answer This product will enable 2 HDMI outputs that carry the same HDMI content to 2 different devices. So if your receiver is decoding the HDMI and providing audio, the other output of this device can be sent to the projector for display on a screen.
