What thing are you talking about? You need a special cable depending on what TV you have. Some TV has the old fashion 5 color prong cord (green, blue, yellow, white, red). Newer TVs have the USB port already integrated into the TV, so you just need to use the cable that has the USB end and not the 5 color prong.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to take the connector for the thing and attach it to the same shape hole in the Xbox and/or TV thing. Then the thing should do what the thing was supposed to do on the TV through the X Box. Unless of course the thing doesnt have the connector thing and the TV is turned off or the thing is defective. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you take out the power soure to the xbox. then u pluge in your HDMI and u go throug all componets and u should find a HDIM componet and then u pluge the other hdmi end in the T.V. then ture the power on the xbox and u are set.
