Q: QuestionI have 8 led lights which require usb (5w/1a) service or wall chargers. Will this strip do? Is it safe to use extension cords between some of the lights with wall chargers and this device? I plan to use the lights 12 hours each day.
Asked by Becky.
- A:Answer I would contact an electrician to be sure .... Electrician fees are cheap when you compare to the cost of replacing your house after it burns to the ground because you were playing around with electricity. BTW there area also surge protectors to cover the entire house system from total destruction by unusually powerful jolts. THEY need to be installed by professionals though. AND replaced when they take a hit. WELL worth the cost.

Q: QuestionWhy does my unit power itself off? Is this a feature that I can override?
Asked by Godsdrummer3.
- A:Answer This is not a feature on my unit. It could be a problem with the main power from the wall, or your setup also. If you are “piggybacking” off another power bank or extension cord, you could be drawing too much power to support everything.

Q: QuestionReference the USB Original A Female Ports... 1. What is the maximum combined/total current output for each 4-port group, e.g. 4 A, 6A, 8 A, etc. ... 2. What is the maximum current output per port, e.g. 2.1 A, 3A, etc. ... Thank you in advance.
Asked by RocketfishFan.
- A:Answer OK so nobody answered this question well, and I was trying to find out myself. The ones onboard the protector are 5v 4.8a total, meaning you get 24 watts divided over 4 ports. The maximum per port is generally 2.4a or 12 watts maximum per port, or divided, 6 watts per port if all 4 are pulling current.
