A:AnswerThe mortar lines will have no problem holding that small weight. You can use TAPCON screws or concrete anchors. Typical drywall anchors should work as long as you use the correct ones. If you have a 50 lb TV each anchor needs to hold at least 1/4 of that weight. Bigger is better. Drill a hole barely large enough to push the anchor into. Once you tighten the screws into it you should find that the anchor is all but impossible to pull out. Still don't feel comfortable? Put a little epoxy in the brick/mortar hole before you push the anchor into it.

Once the TV is mounted there are two handles on the bottom of each mount that you can pull down and the the TV can be pulled away from the mount and the lifted off the bracket.
