A:AnswerI got this for a sonos Arc, just barely holds the weight of the Ark. There is another product made specifically made for the beam I used in another room that works great
A:AnswerThis bracket will work with most if not all current sound bars and it will attach directly to your TV with your current TV bracket sitting on top of this. You may need to use spacers to ensure that the top and bottom mounting points on your TV bracket are level as the sound bar bracket will attach only to the bottom two mounting holes on your TV.
A:AnswerYou will need to take the TV down. The Rocketfish Universal Soundbar Mount goes directly against the back of the TV and then the TV mount brackets are attached THROUGH the bolt holes in the Soundbar mount. The Soundbar mount comes with a variety of bolts and spacers to make sure everything mounts properly. I had Geek Squad install mine but it's not a bad DIY. The Geek Squad installer did say that this is one of the most sturdy mounts they have personally installed. I believe that part of the reason is the fact that it is integral to the connection between the TV and wall mount. The arms are easy to adjust to accommodate long or short soundbars. Once installed, my Samsung HW-R650 soundbar is right against the bottom of the TV with virtually no gap - just the way I wanted it.
A:AnswerI would not think so. I just installed the Rocketfish Universal Soundbar Mount with my existing Rocketfish RF-HTVMM170C Full Motion TV mount and it works great. The soundbar mount is very sturdy but the trick to the installation is that the soundbar mount is places against the back of the TV and then the TV mount bolts go THROUGH the soundbar mount and into the back of the TV. The soundbar mount comes with spacers and bolts that make everything work and it creates a sturdy mount. I mounted a Samsung HW-R650 soundbar to mine and it works great. The soundbar mount is adjustable to fit a variety of soundbars and moves up/down so it can be positioned against the bottom of the TV for a very clean installation. You do have to read the instructions thoroughly. Best of luck to you!
