I don't know about your kit, but my receiver is wireless and the output (in the back of the receiver) is, as my speakers are, rigged for wires. The distance between speakers, therefore, is irrelevant. I don't know about wireless speakers. I set up the rockfish to feed my wired rear speakers. I would suspect, however, that since my receiver is at least 10 feet from the transmitter and I never have a problem, your wireless speakers should be okay at 8 feet separation.

There are short wires that you run from one box to your receiver. Then you run your own speaker wire (you set length) from the second box to both your speakers.
