“Every time there is a power outage the speakers make a loud humming or buzzing when the power is restored. I have to turn the sender unit off to stop the humming, but when I am not home, or in the middle of the night, this is a problem. Ideas to fix?”

I have the same problem. I called Rocketfish, and they were no help. The only things which will work is to throw the devices in a landfill and buy something more reliable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A large popping sound is almost always a faulty ground. If you have the receiver plugged into a power strip, try plugging directly to the wall. Of already in a wall socket you may need to replace the outlet.
