I had a free in home consultation with a Best Buy Specialist. She was very knowledgeable & suggested this RF setup to me & it works great. My system is 1 receiver with 2 front speakers & 2 rear speakers. I used this kit for my 2 rear speakers to talk to the receiver wirelessly. The rear part of the kit needs to have access to an electrical outlet. Both rear speakers attach by spkr wire to the rear kit. You decide how long those 2 wires are based on where you place your spkrs. The kit uses bluetooth to communicate to the other RF kit that is connected to your receiver. It works & sounds great.
