Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What model is your t.v? I have the Sony XBR65X850A which is one of the first generation 4k tv's from Sony. The player has to be plugged in to a HDCP 2.2 capable HDMI port. For my model its HDMI 4. The easiest way to find out which port is to contact sony or if you have the Sony 4k streamer it will go into the same port that the Sony 4k streamer uses. If you have one of the early generations t.v's and it doesn't have a HDCP in HDMI 4 Sony will send an upgrade kit for free. I hope this helps.
