Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After reading many comments and reviews, we followed a suggestion in one review and tried simply turning our Denon AVR S910W off and on and somehow that caused both 4K and Dolby Atmos to kick in on VUDU items that feature that via the Roku 4. I suppose this reinitialized the HDMI inputs, but be this as it may, there is still much hocus pocus once you leave the familiar standardized realm realm of HD/Dolby D. Happy adventuring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe and maybe not. Here is our experience with VUDU on Roku and for us the answer was "no." Bought specifically to watch 4K video and listen to Dolby Atmos surround sound. The Roku won't do either on our Samsung UHD TV or when routed through a Pioneer SC-91 to the TV. On a Denon X2200W we have it would not even connect claiming our TV was not HDCP 2.2 compliant. Of course it is. New equipment is all about HDCP and 4K video and both of our systems can also do Dolby Atmos. We have plenty of apps already that can do 1080 and Dolby 5.1 so we didn't need to buy yet another. Beware. A lot of misinformation abounds here.
