• A number of Apps like Tubi - which is a large free movie/TV App - come already installed on the TV. If you want subscription Apps like Netflix, you'll have to pay a fee.

• Hello Lucy46, you can download an app you’d like but some may have subscriptions such as Netflix and Hulu, but all of them come with the Roku Channel pre downloaded which offer tons of free live TV, as well as movies and tv shows to chose from.
