“If this tv were to sit on a stand alone cabinet how wide does the cabinet need to be?”

• At least 51" with the stand's feet reversed . If you don't reverse the feet your cabinet will have to be about 6-7"wider.

• Hello George, The stands on this model is 43 inches from tip to tip. Your cabinet would need to be at least 43 inches.
