More than one TV? It only works for the TV you have it connected to, but you can move it to any TV with no problem.

No. It only works on the tv you insert the dongle into. But it is easy to move from one to another I would think.

I don't have smart tvs and I had to buy a roku for each tv.

Roku is just a device, not service. There are channels and apps in it. Majority of them you can use on tv, computer, tablets and phones. All you have to do is enter an access code they provide when you start using a different device for the 1st time.
