I have never open the manual before because the remote has almost all the functions label on it. Know you have to get a cable card from you cable provider for it to work unless if you are using it for over the air channels which might not require cable card. Once you connect it, the setup is explanatory Here are some of the buttons functions: 1. Tivo button/left arrow takes you to Tivo Central that contains: Recorded shows, Manage recordings & One pass, music & photos, Apps & games, settings & messages, etc 2. Live TV button: takes you to live tv. Everything is really self explained or does whatever it says on the remote. The settings & messages tab contain the setup and I believe the most important things aside from the shows. If you have specific questions, I can try to answer them.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need two cables, one to connect the Roku to an electrical outlet and the other to connect it to your TV. Then go online to Roku.com to set up your account. You need to know how to switch your TV from normal use (i.e. satellite, cable, antenna etc.) and the Roku. Otherwise, the hand held remote seems pretty self-explanatory.
