The biggest difference that I can see is that the Stick plugs directly into your TV HDMI port and is basically hidden from sight. The Express needs to be placed on a surface where it is in line of sight with the Remote. It then has a cord connection from the Express to your HDMI port. Both units need to be plugged into a power source. The Stick then has a remote that does not have to be line of sight to the unit. As long as you are in the same room as the TV, you don't really have to aim the Roku Stick remote at anything to make your selections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. The stick has a faster processor (quicker/smoother interface experiemce when switching channels, browsing episodes etc.) 2. The stick has dual band wi-fi (potentially faster when you have a lot of other devices using wi-fi at the same time: cellphone, tablet, smart TV, PC etc. but only if your home wi-fi supports dual band) 3. Express has an infra-red remote (you have to point the remote at the Roku unit), the stick has a wi-fi enabled "point anywhere" remote 4. Form factor is different (duh)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The stick most likely has better specs but to you can also compare the 2 online or side by side. Compare the amount of memory & ghz.... Ghz being the amount of speed for streaming and or opening an app.
