- Answer Depends on how you power the device. If you plug into a wall then yes but if you plug into the TV then no.

QuestionThe only internet I have is my cell phone - can I use this device to get more than antenna channels? Or can I get a hotspot device to use in connection. Sorry we aren’t able to get xfinity and $40 for just Internet is a budget breaker .

- Answer In theory you can use your mobile hotspot, however I doubt the speed your hotspot can deliver will be sufficient enough to watch tv without any lag. Maybe you should try seeing if Xfinity has an internet bundle with their new mobile phone plans, might work out for you!

- Answer We had to add them onto Sling TV for an additional charge, and it came with about 10 other channels. That is all I personally know about the subject. I haven't seen it offered through Roku.
