A:Answer That does not sound normal to me. The ROKU Express that we just replaced lasted at least four years, and the first one we bought (though seldom used) still works, and I believe that one is maybe 8 years old...
The remote connection does seem to decay on the older ones, however, but if you install the ROKU app on your phone or tablet, that seems to connect well even when the dedicated remote is sluggish. Always store the remote face down, because it seems that when it rocks on the round bottom, the battery fails faster.
