Hi Frank! The best way to use wireless earphones with your Roku device is by downloading the free Roku Mobile App and connecting your earphones with your mobile device. For more details on the Roku Mobile App, check out https://www.roku.com/mobile-app.

The soundbar has wifi for the roku apps and all, but you can connect wireless headphones and speakers through the bluetooth. You just have to pair it through the settings menu in the Roku on the TV first then you'll be able to stream to it even with the TV off.
