A:AnswerIn order to get local channels you need to sign up for a serive that has them, like Directv Stream of YouTube TV. You can download those apps on Roku stick.
A:AnswerOn my particular Samsung tv it is more than 8 yrs old. My HDMI port exits from the side. I see about 1 inch of the stick from the side of the screen, but its not obnoxious. The stick is thin enough that its not thicker than my tv screen.
