You can’t get a Google app if that’s what you’re asking. You are able to download the YouTube app and access YouTube.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku accesses the Internet for downloading apps to your TV. However, there is no usable web browser built into any Roku or available as an app. Your best bet is casting or "mirroring" from the browser on your Android phone (if you have one). There is an app for YouTube and you can also subscribe to YouTube Live through Roku.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'll answer your second question first. Yes, Roku can stream YouTube. However, it dos not support adding comments nor likes to a YouTube video. As to your first question? "can Roku access the internet"? I'm guessing that you mean can Roku turn your television into a substitute for a computer with web browser. And the answer is NO! All these streaming devices (Roku, Amazon Firestick, Apple TV, etc) actually REQUIRE access to an internet connection to work.
