• If you download the free Roku app from the Google PlayStore onto your cell phone, it acts not only as another remote, but also allows you to plug headphones into your cell phone so you can listen to the program on the Roku TV that you are watching. If you're itching to spend money, you can buy the Roku+ Headphone Edition and plug the stick into a free HDMI port. You can then switch the input on your Roku TV to the the input with the Roku Stick to override the Roku TV.
