No concerns needed. I have used various Roku stick models on dumb and smart Samsung TVs and they all work. I have this earphone model on my new Q80 Samsung now and it works fine.

Tizen is Samsung's operating system so with that being said no you do not have to purchase a specific Roku device, but based off weather your Samsung TV is 1080p HD, 4K UHD, 8k will help with your decision on choosing the right Roku for you. Now you can purchase our Streaming Stick +4K and use it on a 1080p HD TV but unless your TV is 4K you won't be getting the 4K picture quality but you still would get smooth HD streaming on your TV and be upgrade ready for when you get a 4K TV!
