Good question. I found out the hard way that turning off your tv for the night and leaving the ear buds plugged into the remote will still be using battery. The batteries lasted two days!! I do not know how long they'll last when actually using them but I would think a long time if you remember to unplug them when not in use.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using the supplied batteries will not last long. My first set only lasted a couple of days. I replaced mine about 2 weeks ago and they have been good. I have not had mine very long. When the batteries do die you will lose sound but you will still have use of the remote. It does take AA batteries unlike the other Roku remotes that take AAA batteries. This should make them last longer.
