“Does the remote work well, even though the plug in unit is behind the TV and not visible by the remote?”

• We have Roku Sticks on three TV's and the remotes work fine --- possibly because the sticks are located towards the back sides of the TV's and the TV's are up against walls. If you buy one and it does have issues because of the port location on the back of your the TV, you can request a short, free HDMI-USB extension cable from Roku via their website, or buy one locally to relocate the stick closer to where it will receive signals better.
