- Answer The Roku has to plug into an HDMI port..so you would need a converter piece.

QuestionRe: locking up on RokuI have Roku 3 and use it quite a bit. Lately I have found that it locks up after watching 2 or 3 hours. My cable provider says my capacity is fine, and LevinTV says the problem is my bandwidth. Is that true? Could it be that my WiFi isn't up to the job? I'm a frustrated 82 year old user without much knowledge about electronic gizmos.

- Answer Yes, your wireless wifi router may be bad. Cable companies use and reuse (sub)par equipment and only replace when someone complains.

QuestionDoes Hulu and Netflix automatically go to next episode?I have an older Roku box, and with Netflix, if I'm watching a television series or movie it doesnt automatically go to another video. With Hulu it does. I'm wondering if the stick does that? I like the idea of the streaming being more like regular television and automatically playing the next video without me having to reach for the remote.

- Answer When watching with my Roku sticks, Netflix does queue up the next episode when finished with the previous one and gives you a few seconds to pause or stop if you want to.. I don't use Hulu.

Questiondo you need like dish that i have or can you get rid of it,we are om a s,mall town that you can not get tv unless it is on dish, direct or cable will this roku work without them, please let me know, very interested but sounds like when you get the channels that you really want it would cost almost as much as dish does

- Answer At the top, personal preference and viewing habits have more bearing than device function. I have both fire stick and Roku stick. Overall I like the Roku stick a little bit better. The fire stick has a slick intuitive menu and ample apps. The Roku app feels a bit more rudimentary. Rental fees for movies and tv shows seems higher on Amazon prime than it is on Mgo via the Roku. If you like the scifi channel, fire stick has the app Roku doesn't. In general all media hubs (Roku, Apple TV, fire) are pretty much the same.

- Answer It should work quite well if your wifi set up is not antique. If your tv has no HDMI, make sure that you can connect your computer to your tv. If your tv does have HDMI inputs, there is no need to use your computer.

- Answer I just did this at a hotel. The roku created a wifi that I used my phone to connect to. I then was able to perform the necessary tasks the hotel required. It was then connected
