can i record tv shows? null

Hello oldyeller, Roku does not have a recording feature. Roku does how ever have a search where you can find any show or movie you want to see and where you can watch it using our unbiased search which always shows where you can watch it for free.

You need an antenna and tuner to get over the air broadcasts. I use a HDHomerun 4k along with Plex. The software that comes with the HDHomeRun only allows recording if you purchase a subscription but can view live TV. Plex also requires a subscription but offers other features I like better. With this setup I can record or watch LiveTV (4 separate tuners) and can replay all recordings on any TV in the house that have a Roku with the PLEX app. Great for cord cutters...
