• Hello Linda, Roku TVs and Devices do not have a record feature and this device does not get over the air antenna content but with WiFi you can stream your favorite streaming apps such as Netflix and Hulu or for free content you can watch the Roku Channel that offers 500+ free live tv channels as well as on demand movies and TV shows, featuring some Roku Original content.

• The Roku Ultra streams apps. If any functions, such as Digital Video Recording, are properties of an app then this device would support that. The R. Ultra is connected to a tv by a HDMI cable.
